Originally designed for the US Air Force as a uniform bomber jacket for military men at the start of WWII, Schott 's 'G-1' style has been worn by Naval, Marine and Army forces for over 60 years. Made from durable leather and thickly insulated to provide exceptional warmth, it has an easily detachable shearling collar. The satin lining depicts a detailed story of the iconic "Wings of Gold" - a rigorous two-year flight school and training program attended by Naval Aviators.
