Needles

Tokyo-based clothing brand Needles finds its inspiration in old Americana. Brand founder Keizo Shimizu launched the label with a loose-fitting jacket inspired by Miles David in the 60's, and true to form, his subsequent work remains heavily influenced by much of American culture, yet executes his unique vision via Japanese material and techniques. Shimizu has since create sub-labels Needles Sportswear and Needles Rebuild on the back of his main brand, both utilizing the same approach to design in different fields. Proving to be a contemporary mainstay in men's streetwear, Needles Sportswear has since found a favorite collaborative parter in hip-hop giant A$AP Rocky.
