Alexandre Mattiusi is no stranger to the big names in fashion. After gaining experience and knowledge in prominent houses such as Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, and Dior, Mattiusi launched AMI in 2011. At his second go in business (his first attempt closed down in 2002), he'd managed to attract the eye of many an editor and fashion buyer and soon became a force to be reckoned with. AMI, which means "friend" in French, is founded on Mattiusi's principle of dressing his friends. The focus of the brand is and will always be dressing "a real man," and the brand reflects its purpose by its classics and attainable prices.
