Perhaps the company's greatest claim to fame was the invention of the first automatic (self-winding) movement. Thanks to a stunning renaissance in the 21st century, the Perrelet brand has capitalised on this superb legacy, creating a phenomenal new kind of watch based on the premise of the automatic rotor. This watch has not one but two rotors, one in its traditional position on the back, and the other presented proudly on the dial. They are connected and rotate in unison, allowing the wearer to marvel at the hypnotic movements of this wonderful horological accomplishment without taking the watch off the wrist (it also makes the calibre more efficient).
