Prior to becoming a designer, Mr Yuki Matsuda was a vintage dealer and used to travel around the US thrifting clothing to resell at the Rose Bowl, which is why many of Monitaly 's pieces have such an old-school feel to them. Modelled after classic field jackets, this version is trimmed with a corduroy collar and made from the label's exclusive 'Vancloth Sateen', a tightly-woven cotton fabric that's both water- and wind-resistant.
