This rare and beautiful Panerai Radiomir, now discontinued, has many features that make it highly desirable for collectors. Most notable is the extraordinary movement, originally based on Jaeger-LeCoultre's prestigious 897 but upgraded to the Panerai Calibre OP XIII, which you can ogle through the caseback. The movement boasts a second time zone complication that is shown with an extra hand from the centre pointing to a 24-hour ring—a nice way of keeping the dial uncluttered. While not technically a limited edition, it is thought that only 1,000 PAM 184s were made, making this a rare and valuable find.
