For almost a century, Pendleton has been making its Chief Joseph blanket, designed and named for a nineteenth century Chief of the Nez Perce tribe of northeastern Oregon. Joseph was renowned for his courage and the protection he offered to his people and these qualities are represented in the arrowheads woven into the blanket’s ground. This incarnation is finished in beautiful pale blue and contrasting white, brown and orange, adding the cosiest of finishing touches to any living space with its brushed virgin wool blend.
