Breguet Type XXI 3810ST/92/SZ9

This is a beautiful example of the Breguet Type XXI. The Type XXI is an evolution of Breguet's famous Type XX watches, made since the mid 20th century, originally for French navy pilots. As highly functional timepieces, the Type XX (and later) watches don't look much like other Breguets, as they are designed to be practical flyback chronographs with maximum legibility. Despite their less cultured, classic aesthetic, these watches demonstrate superb Breguet refinement, both artistically and technologically, and have proven to be very popular with collectors. This watch has a beautiful vintage aesthetic and wonderful “timeless aviator” quality, with its stunningly detailed dial and superbly applied hour markers.
