It's a little known fact about the legendary Abraham-Louis Breguet that, among his extraordinary number of other achievements, he was appointed the official horologer to the French Navy in 1815, after Napoleon's defeat at the battle of Waterloo. While the Marine collection, first launched in the 1990s, is not intended for Naval use, it celebrates Breguet's marine history and provides a range of slightly more sporty watches to complement its other collections. Marine watches exhibit all the style, quality and craftsmanship that we associate with the brand, and often feature a captivating guilloché spiral pattern at the centre of the dial.
