The PAM 219 is a wonderful example of that rare beast in Panerai legend: the left-handed Luminor. Confusingly, Panerai calls these watches “Destro”—Italian for “right”. That's because the watch is designed to be worn on the right wrist, hence placing the crown on the left. If you're not a Panerai expert, it might take you a second or two to notice that there's even anything different, as almost all the other elements of handsome Luminor design are present and correct: big cushion case, dome-like crown guard, retro aesthetic and a even a sandwich dial, which itself is fairly rare on Base models such as this.
