Ancuta Sarca is the Romanian-born, London-based designer who has quickly gained international attention from the likes of Vogue, Dazed and i-D for her kitten heels upcycled from old running shoes, specifically Nike. Inspired by circular design and the resistance of fast fashion, Sarca mixes 18th century opulence with 20th century subcultures to deliver her eco-friendly alternative.
