Yeezy, named after one of Ye's nicknames, began with sneakers for Nike and became a phenomenon at adidas, where the Yeezy Boost 350 of 2015 was among the most coveted shoes of its decade, alongside Yeezy Season collections of muted, oversized basics first shown at New York Fashion Week that year. adidas ended the partnership in October 2022 after the rapper, formerly Kanye West, made antisemitic remarks, and a Yeezy Gap line ended the same year. The label now sells independently through yeezy.com.
