Founded in Paris in 2019 by South Tyrolean designer Andreas Steiner, Rier recasts Alpine mountain clothing as restrained luxury. Steiner previously worked at Prada, Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton, was shortlisted for the 2021 LVMH Prize, and builds the label around natural materials, local craft and a transparent supply chain.
