Remi Relief

Yutaka Goto, a surfer from Aichi who worked for Levi Strauss Japan among others, launched Remi Relief in 2007; the name joins 'remix' and 'relief', modification and omission. The clothes reinterpret 1960s and 70s American surf and skate style with washed-out colours and prints, and are made in Japan, much of it at the brand's own factory in Kojima, Okayama's denim district.
