Regulation Yohji Yamamoto, launched for spring 2013, applies the designer's ideas to what the house calls 'disciplined clothing': pieces inspired by uniforms of every kind, cut with Yamamoto's signature volume and asymmetry and meant as easy 'one-mile wear' for everyday life. Yamamoto, who founded his company in Tokyo in 1972 and first showed in Paris in 1981, remains one of fashion's great exponents of black.
