Noir Kei Ninomiya

Kei Ninomiya studied at Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts before joining Comme des Garçons as a patternmaker, and in 2012 Rei Kawakubo gave him his own womenswear line within the company, Noir, worked almost entirely in black. His clothes are built as much as sewn, assembled from laser-cut panels joined with metal rings, studs, chains and flowers into sculptural pieces; he has shown in Paris since 2019 and designed for Moncler Genius.
