Gramicci

Gramicci was founded in 1982 by Mike Graham, a climber with the Stonemasters crew, who began sewing climbing trousers in his garage in Oxnard, California. His designs added a gusseted crotch for freedom of movement and a built-in webbing belt that adjusts with one hand, features that still define the G-Short and the Gramicci Pant. The name came from a nickname Graham gave himself on an all-Italian ascent of Half Dome in Yosemite. Japan's Itochu, long the brand's Japanese licensee, has owned Gramicci since 2017.
