Cav Empt

Cav Empt, better known as C.E, takes its name from caveat emptor, 'buyer beware', by way of Philip K. Dick's novel Ubik. Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell, both alumni of Nigo's A Bathing Ape and Billionaire Boys Club, founded the Tokyo label with Hishiyama Yutaka in 2011, as power rationing after the Tōhoku earthquake dimmed the city. Its oversized sweatshirts and jackets carry glitchy, retro-futurist graphics built from obsolete technology and subverted corporate logos.
