Seoul based designer Seung Gun Park, the mastermind behind womenswear label pushBUTTON, draws inspiration from unlikely places to form his vision: polar opposites. Merging Eastern traditions from his life in Korea with Western sensibilities prominent in fashion and media, Park creates fresh silhouettes that catch the eye and cause conversation. Among his repertoire of inspirational images, he also looks towards the aesthetic prominent in the 80s and 90s, but reworks the mediums he consumes into high fashion, ultra-stylish garments that make use of colors, patterns, and shapes to reinvent the female silhouette.
