Friends Valentina Bezuhanova, Sabina Gyosheva and Denitsa Bumbarova founded By Far in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2016, starting with shoes they wanted to wear themselves and taking their cues from the minimalism of the 1990s. Square-toed mules, slingbacks and boots were followed by bags such as the Rachel, whose crescent shape became a cult hit.
