Master & Dynamic

Jonathan Levine founded Master & Dynamic in New York in 2013, after a pair of 1940s aviator headphones in a Washington museum, still intact decades on, convinced him that audio gear could be built to last. With the Swedish industrial designer Mårten Wallby he made headphones from leather and stainless steel rather than plastic. Earphones and speakers followed, along with collaborations with Leica, Lamborghini and Louis Vuitton.
