Javier Laval founded Android Homme in Los Angeles in 2008, giving the look of a luxury sneaker the energy of the city's streetwear scene in models such as the Propulsion high-top and the Belter. The brand has since moved beyond its Los Angeles roots into Europe, and its trainers are now made in Portugal.
