Tehran-born, New York-based designer Maryam Nassir Zadeh found her start in fashion in her early 20's following her tenure at Rhode Island School of Design, but quickly rose to prominence in 2008 for her eponymous womenswear label. Known for her unique reinterpretation of New York street style, Zadeh's take on womenswear is contemporary at its core, encapsulating the updated wardrobe of the everyday lady. Clothes take on natural, relaxed form with fresh detailing, while her approach to shoes border on architectural, yet wearable.
