Marcelo Burlon grew up in Patagonia, moved to Italy as a teenager and made his name in Milan as a DJ, party organiser and PR man before launching County of Milan in 2012 as a line of T-shirts printed with wings, feathers and snakes drawn from Argentine iconography. The label showed at Pitti Uomo in 2014 and in Milan a year later, and was a founding brand of New Guards Group, later bought by Farfetch. Burlon, who owns the label, moved its licence in 2025 to Daddato Next, which relaunched the collection that September.
