Manuele Bianchi, who spent two decades designing luxury women's shoes, including at Donna Karan in New York, founded Casbia in Milan, where its sneakers are made entirely by hand in Italy. The label puts design ahead of trends, mixing traditional materials with new technologies in hybrids such as the Uniform Veloce, which crosses a sneaker with a dress shoe.
