Simone Pérèle was founded in Paris in 1948 by a corsetmaker of the same name, who set out to make lingerie that followed a woman's natural shape without sacrificing comfort. The house's Pétale bra of 1970, with invisible lines and no underwire, was an early success. Still family-run and led by her grandchildren, it makes bras, briefs, bodysuits, nightwear and loungewear in lace, tulle and silk.
