Italian fashion label Sunnei was launched by self-taught fashion friends Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo in 2015. While largely inspired by the sartorial choices of 1970's Italy, both Messina and Rizzo had no educational understanding of fashion outside of their jobs within the space, and the success of their brand was found in its vision and photography. Alongside Sunnei's well-rounded execution, Messina and Rizzo focused on concentrating their supply chain within Veneto, catering to a breed of customer that cares more for staid fortitude than fleeting happiness.
