Industry veteran Pierre Hardy is one of the stalwarts of shoe design. Hardy cut his teeth at his stint at Hermès from 1990 to 1999, rising to prominence as the mastermind behind the iconic Oran sandal and Quick sneaker. In the year of his departure from the luxury house, he launched his eponymous footwear label, successfully selling 5,000 pairs to luxury retailers Neiman Marcus and now-defunct Barneys New York. Hardy's line now crafts "essentials for the perfect silhouette," encompassing shoes for men and women, as well as leather goods.
